Trace the alphabet
Learn to write every capital letter with guided, stroke-by-stroke tracing.

How it works
- 1A letter appears with a dot showing exactly where to start.
- 2Your child drags along the guide — the stroke fills in behind their finger.
- 3Strokes come in the order handwriting is actually taught, one at a time.
- 4Wandering off the line pauses progress rather than failing the attempt.
What it builds
Guided tracing that follows the proper stroke order, so a child learns to form letters the right way round from the start.
Nothing in trace the alphabet can be lost or failed. A wrong answer stays on screen to try again, which is what keeps a two-year-old in the game long enough to learn from it.

What age is Trace the alphabet for?+
It is pitched at 3 to 6 year olds, though children either side of that often enjoy it too. Nothing is timed, so a younger child can simply take longer.
Do I need to install anything?+
No. Kidling runs entirely in the browser on a phone, tablet or laptop. There is no app to download and no store account involved.
Is it free?+
You can play without an account. A subscription unlocks the full personalised plan, the weekly worksheet packs and progress tracking.
Are there ads?+
No. There is no advertising anywhere in the product and nothing that links a child out of it.
